Fingering Weight is a light base yarn that is also referred to as sock weight. It is a versatile yarn that can be used for nearly any project to include sweaters, shawls, hats and of course socks. Most full size skeins of fingering weight yarn is approximately 400+ yards in length, and 100 grams in weight. It comes in a variety of blends to include merino, alpaca, cashmere, stellina, lurex, and much more.
